Privacy policy

This site is run by Jan Garrvin Hatol ("we"). Contact: support@softstillstudio.com.

What we collect and why

• Your photo, to make your portrait preview and, if you order, your art pack.
• Your email address, only if you give it to us, to send your portrait preview or your order.
• Your IP address, in scrambled (hashed) form, to limit abuse (a few free portrait previews per day). We store IP addresses only as hashes, with one exception: if you allowed ad measurement, your IP address and browser name are held while a payment is being confirmed with PayPal, so the purchase can be reported to Meta, and are deleted as soon as the payment is confirmed or fails.
• Order details (the email address from PayPal and the names you send us), to deliver what you bought.
• Visit statistics (which page and ad you came from), to understand which pages work. We set one first-party cookie (fl_sid) for this.

Who processes your data

• Cloudflare: hosting, storage and bot protection (Turnstile).
• Comfy Cloud and the image-model vendors it uses: to turn your photo into a portrait preview.
• PayPal: payments. PayPal shares your email address with us for orders.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): ad measurement, only if the Meta Pixel is enabled and, in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, only after you click "Accept".

How long we keep it

Photos and generated portrait previews are deleted automatically after 30 days. Order records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing support@softstillstudio.com; we will do so within 30 days.

What we don't do

• We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell your data.
• No photos of children under 13. Please only upload photos you own or have permission from everyone in them to use.
